BECOME AN

ALIEN FARMER!

Welcome to Planet Gorp, a place with lots of sand and only a few spots of good soil. Here, farmers work hard to grow strange plants and become the best farmer on the planet. You'll need to be smart, grow your plants well, and even take plants from others to win.

The game ends when one of the farmers has harvested enough sets of plants.

The farmer with the most individual plant cards is the winner of the game.

Points are counted by the number of cards, not the sum of the stage-numbers

Plant Cards

5 Different plant species, each species starts growing at 1.

5 Different secateurs, play to harvest the respective plant and end your turn. You can harvest a plant in any stage (inlcuding 1).

Secateurs

Specials

Keep them to play later or use them right away for an advantage and end your turn.

Jokers

Fits on any plant type and can be any plant & number.

Disasters

Execute what's on the card immediately and end your turn.

Plants are grown in a sequential order, starting from one.

All players can continue growing on each other's plants.

You can harvest any plant with the corresponding secateur.

When you harvest a set, place it separately so you know it's yours.

To signal the end of your turn to your fellow players, say: GORPSLORP

Playing a turn

  • A plant always starts at 1.

    • Jokers also count as 1

  • Plants only grow in a sequential order (1,2,3)

  • After playing a secateur or special, your turn ends.

    • Special cards must be placed on the discard pile after use.

  • Cards that need to be discarded go “face-up” on the discard pile.

    • Reshuffle the discard pile if the deck of fresh cards is (almost) empty.

  • In case of a disaster, players with fewer cards than described in the effect, use all of the cards in their possession.

  • Disaster cards don’t count as discard cards.

  • You are not allowed to swap placed jokers on the field for other cards.

  • Jokers also count in your total score at the end of the game.

    • You are allowed to harvest a pile with exclusively jokers.

  • Forgetting to end your turn with GORPSLORP can be punished with house rules.
